Deeply colored purple food is popping up everywhere. Purple potatoes. Purple carrots. Purple acai bowls. Purple corn. Even purple macarons and purple cereal.
The color’s popularity is partially due to our growing obsession with healthy eating; purple food is rich in antioxidants and dense in nutrients.
